Historical Information
The Hillsdale church was located at the junction of the Hillsdale and Easton roads. Some believe the church structure was built in the early 1900's or just before; however, there is no known date of construction. Abraham Hill, Deacon George Henry Sabean, Augustus Sabean, Hartshorne Mullen, and Thomas Hill all contributed to the construction of the house of worship. The pastor preached at Hillsdale in the morning and New Tusket in the afternoon. Although these represent separate meeting houses, the body composed one membership.
