Historical Information

Boundary Creek Baptist Church was built in 1842 and served as a Baptist church for 151 years. Over the years, the church has been renovated five times, and in the 1970s a new foundation was put in. But much of it, including its body, fixtures, floors, some cast iron covers and windows remained.

In 1996, the congregation joined Allison Baptist Church and the building was sold. For two decades it was used as a storage facility. In 2016, Danny Legace purchased the building and spent three years converting it into a short-term rental cottage with the goal of preserving the building’s rich history.
