Historical Information

The Heritage Baptist Church was founded in 2003, the same year they constructed their building. The building is somewhat typical of churches built in the twenty-first century, as it is a building that is meant for much more than just meetings on Sunday. The building, although somewhat plain on the outside, contains the main sanctuary space at the back of the building, a kitchen area, office space, and children’s rooms.

The building is a 1½ storey construction, with everything at street level, unlike older churches that often have steps to the main entrance. This church is rather plain on the exterior, which is covered in brown wood clad boards. The main entrance is on the eave-side, which would be considered the front facade of the structure. The main entrance is positioned near the corner of the church, on the far left. The rest of the front facade contains seven one-over-one white vinyl windows, with the gable ends containing three of the same style windows. The building is simple in design and style, and lacks any architectural embellishments on the exterior.
