Historical Information
Moshers Corner United Baptist Church, located a short distance from the Port George Church was erected in the community in 1904, and was served by ministers from Middleton. Later, in 1914, a pastoral charge, which included Moshers Corner, Port George, and Mount Hanley, separated from Middleton. Throughout the period of the Second World War the church was often without pastoral leadership and had to rely on student pastors.
Although the church at Moshers Corner remained active, it was always small. With few resources, the church struggled to maintain the structure, and has since changed hands and been renovated to be used as a summer home.
