Historical Information

The Timberlea Community Bible Chapel was founded in 2013 when a group of roughly fifteen members community members met in the houses of congregants. About a year later, the congregation came together to establish the church that we see today (2022). This church is rather plain and atypical for its time in terms or style and architectural embellishments. This building is much longer than it is wide, and it appears as if it could be a modular building that was constructed off-site and put together here. The main entrance is off centered on the six-bay front façade. The building has a large metal, saddle back steeple situated on the overhang that protrudes in front of the main entrance. Each other bay contains a set of white vinyl windows and a small classical style dormer. These dormers are just for looks and give the illusion that the building is larger than it is; they do not contain windows and there is no second storey in this structure. There is another entrance situated on the other end of the structure. This structure two rather plain doors on the right side of the structure.

This church is not affiliated with CBAC, Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, but instead CNBC, Canadian National Baptist Convention, based out of Alberta, Canada.
