Historical Information
Historical records indicate that the congregation at Clementsport, among many other local congregations, grew out of the work of Israel Potter. In 1888, the Baptists of Goat Island (Upper Clements), Clements West (Deep Brook), and Clementsport joined together under the name Clementsport Baptist Church.
