Historical Information
The church was founded in 1801, and grew from the Church of Christ of Annapolis, Granville, and Wilmot (Townships) founded by Henry Aline. Historical records note that the structure was erected to accommodate a growing congregation. The number of denominations that also erected churches around the same time and in the same geographic area indicates a significant spiritual movement.
The original structure was later remodeled in 1930.
