Historical Information

Since Falkland Ridge was first settled in 1846, religious life in the area was always associated with Springfield. One of the first recorded religious services at Falkland Ridge took place in 1858 on a farmer’s threshing floor. The current church was built later in 1891 by Edward H. Marshall and Joseph Bent. The structure is unique with a double front entrance.
